May/June/July!!

Update time!!!

May - started with a cracking gig at Pakefield, then went to see a Tommy Cooper tribute show which was so so funny! Had a weekend off - so went to Hemsby with the Peace-Train crowd, had a fab weekend with lots of friends.

June - spent a couple of days in Madeira, which was just lovely... watch this space for events out there next year!
Went to support my lovely Shenfield Operatic Society, they were performing 'Sweet Charity' - well done all!!

After a great gig in Wellingborough, went for a picnic reunion with the 'King & I' cast members in Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Played football with a 4 year girl, who was so much better than me!!! I'm not ashamed!!!

Then performed for lovely Luke's birthday who has turned 18 this year, great night with super atmosphere.

Went off to Lisa Thurleys event in Hemsby - absolutely cracking night - great to see the lovely 'Ray's' including Nanny Ray!!

Had a very different day on the Sunday, I was at the Palace Theatre in Westcliff all day with 'Funky Voices' - a choir I help out with every now and then - fantastic show, well done to all involved.

July - started with the best weekend ever - Peace-Trains 2nd trip to Torquay, from the moment we arrived to the moment we got home, it was perfect!!! The Risley's work so, so hard and everyone appreciates everything they do.... no one does it better in my humble opinion. Here's to next year! The following weekend, I travelled up to Newark with my lovely friend Jules to the Americana festival. We had never been before, but was offered by a close friend to travel up and spend the day with her and her family. The most amazing day, weather was so hot, got lovely and burnt, and drank far too much, perfect day and we were looked after so much!!! Lets hope we can go again next year.

After a great gig in Harrow, I finished the weekend off at a BBQ with lots of beautiful friends - fab weekend all round - didn't want it to come to an end!

Then travelled up to County Durham on the Monday, taking a small detour on the way!! Spent 2 days with my 2nd family - had a great gig and lots of laughs with them all. Looking forward to seeing them again next week!!

Off to Isle of Wight tomorrow then Torquay on Sunday.

Then off to bonny Scotland next week - can't wait!!

Hello all,

Where is this year disappearing to???? I have finally had some pictures done with my lovely Crystal Boot Award.... check them out!!! Huge thanks to Arif Gardner for taking the time to do the photo shoot! Had so much fun!

Busy few months ahead, really looking forward to seeing so many of you and to finally be going back up to Scotland in July.... Can't wait!

Have had some fantastic gigs recently, thank you to everyone for simply having a good time!

Crystal Boot Awards - Blackpool

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 2009 has been a great year for me, and the icing has been put on the cake with winning the award for Dedicated Dance Artist!!

To all those who voted for me, I wouldn't be able to do what I do without your support.

Thank you to Kim Ray and the Dollies for their continued support throughout the year, they are like family to me.

My biggest thanks go to Michelle Risley for being my rock over the past few years, to Kathy & Tony Risley for supporting me in everything I do, and to ALL at Peace-Train who travel to so many gigs and who support me every year with my Theatre Shows.

Heres to a great 2010.... Cheers!!!

Christmas & New Year

Here we go again, another year has passed, lots of smiles, lots of laughs, a few tears but overall a great year!

December was very busy, lots of xmas parties etc, and our fab weekend in the Isle of Wight! Unbelievable, we left all that snow behind and when we got to the Island, glorious sunshine and no white stuff in sight!

Christmas was lovely, spent it with all my family and my extended family... just perfect.

Went to Peace-Train's New Year event which was just fantastic, new hall and what a great hall it was! Well done to Michelle, Kathy & Tony for putting on such a fab night.

It has been non-stop for me since new year, went to Hemsby on New Years Day to finish off Double HH's event - great night. Private party in Kings Lynn on the 2nd, Rosemarie's club in Bedford on the 3rd, and Wendy's club in Watford on the 5th!
Well done and thank you to all those brave people who ventured out in the snow!

Been an odd week for me with rehearsals being cancelled, not used to having nights in..... its been lovely though! Back to it next week, and then I have the first of my 2 shows at the end of this month... Fiddler on the roof.

If you haven't booked tickets, please do so!!!!!!

Well thats enough for now, off to Milton keynes next Saturday, hope to see some of you there....weather permitting!

Mumbai Charity Evening

On the 25th November - The Nat Pack went up to London to perform for a charity evening in relation to the terrible attacks last year in Mumbai.

My brother (Chay) hosted the event and it was terrific! Please do take a look at the pictures I have uploaded, it was a very emotional but rewarding evening.

They raised over £20,000 - just amazing. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this event. It was an honour to be part of it.

Where has this year gone???!

Hello everybody!

I cannot believe it has been 3 months since I've written! I am useless!

Well, since Houghton..... I have been to Surbiton, Blackpool, Birmingham, March, Portsmouth, IRELAND, TYNE & WEAR, Isle of Wight, Newport Pagnell, Littlehampton, Somerset, Mundesley (twice), Skegness, ST ALBANS, BENIDORM, THE O2, Peterborough, and WEYMOUTH!

I'll start by telling you about Ireland, Michelle and I had a rare couple of days off, so went to Dublin for the weekend. Had a fabulous time, went all over on the sight-seeing tour bus, and of course went to the Guinness factory! But be warned if you have never been to Ireland, it is very, very expensive! Would still recommend it though!

Calico, Michelle and I went up to Washington in Tyne & Wear for our friends wedding, which was absolutely gorgeous, was such an honour to be part of their day.

St Albans was home to our annual Breast Cancer Charity evening - which was again a sell out. Well done to Barbara and Phil for putting on such a great event. They raised over £2100 so far. Was also lovely to see Kim and her Dollies there!

Michelle and I flew out to Benidorm for a couple of days - but this time for work (if you can call it that!!!!). I did Sunday night, Michelle taught on Monday, we stayed to watch Dave Sherriff who I have not seen for years, then came home on the Tuesday.
We had a great time - and our thanks go to Mal & Jan for inviting us over.

I would love to say that I then did a concert at The o2, but I would be lying! Last year we took my nieces up to the o2 for 'Nemo on Ice'. This year it was 'Princess' on Ice' which was truly superb! It was so emotional, it was like being at Disney! My nieces thoroughly enjoyed it and we cannot wait to see what they are doing next year!

Finally will just tell you about last weekend which was a Stage-Coach event at the Riviera in Weymouth. Michelle was main instructor for the weekend and was absolutely fantastic (as always!) I have known her for quite a while now, and I still cannot believe just how much energy she produces all weekend long! In my opinion, there is nobody like her. Fantastic teacher and a lovely person - I'll definitely be voting for her this year in the CBA awards!
Calico performed on the Friday night - I was in Peterborough - but I hear they were brill - even did 'Playing with Fire'. Pedro performed Sat and Sun afternoon - and he was really good, such a lovely guy. I did Saturday night, got to perform my new one this week 'Time to Swing', had an excellent night. Sunday night Gemmani were on,

they were great and they got Pedro and myself up for the encore (will put video on site soon!)

I will hopefully be revamping my site over the next week , as that wonderful season is ever approaching!!!! Smissmas (as my niece calls it!!)

Another fab C.R.Y event

Got back from Majorca then straight to Houghton Conquest for the annual charity event in aid of C.R.Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

Over £800 raised which was just fantastic - Kim Ray hosted a wonderful event with the support of all her Dolly's!

Once again, they bought me a present, this time it was a gorgeous pink set of knickers, and a t-shirt with a picture of all the Dolly's on it!

So now I have:

FAKE BOOBS!
A FLANNEL TOP!
PINK DRAWERS
PRINTED T-SHIRT

Such a lucky girl! (Pictures to follow!)

Off to Surrey next week - looking forward to it.

Update for July & August!

Since the fantastic Peace-train weekend, I have sung for a friends birthday party, been back down to Torquay for Dom Yates event, 'The Nat Pack' performed at my friends wedding (which was wonderful - check out the video page!!), been up to the norht east, sung at a golf club event, did a surprise birthday gig, went to Malvern with Michelle and then had a 5 day break in Majorca!!!!! (Pictures to follow)

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous weekend!

I was very lucky to be involved with Peace-Train's first adventure to sunny Torquay!

From the moment we arrived to the moment it finished, it was truly fantastic!

The atmosphere was electric all weekend, the hotel was fab, the staff were so helpful, and the weather was perfect!

Michelle, Tony & Kathy worked so hard all weekend, and it was simply amazing!

Michelle worked so, so hard as she always does! Never off the floor, always smiling and a true delight to work with.

In the 5 years that I have now been on this circuit, I can honestly say I have never had so much fun at an event - so honoured to be part of it.

I am so happy that they are going to do it all over again next year and that I have been invited back!

Can't wait!
